Iowa’s Wind Power “Paramount” to Apple’s Decision on New Data Centers

According to a Radio Iowa report, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that “if the energy from wind turbines hadn’t been here,” his company would not have selected Iowa as the site for two new data centers. Cook called renewable energy “paramount” to the decision. Apple will spend nearly $1.4 billion on construction of the data centers, which will employ about 50 full-time workers.
