KidWind Workshop for Wind Energy Educators

Teachers attending this workshop will learn how to prepare to participate in a KidWind Challenge and about the science and technology around wind turbines, blade design, and wind farm siting. This is a free training. Materials are geared toward middle school and high school teachers. Teachers do not need prior knowledge of wind energy. In addition to learning about how wind power works, teachers will learn how to implement activities in the classroom.
