New Hands-On Power Grid Kits from REcharge Labs Provide Exciting Opportunity to Improve Energy Literacy

REcharge Labs® has launched two Power Grid Kits, modular platforms for K-12 students to explore how the electrical grid functions. The Town Power Grid Kit and the City Power Grid Kit demonstrate traditional power generation resources and allow students to explore the impact of solar and wind power along with electric vehicle charging, smart grid technology, and energy efficiency. The Power Grid Kits align to the Energy Literacy Framework, supported by the U.S. Department of Energy, to improve the understanding of how electricity is generated, the impact of the electricity generation, and how the system works.
