Applications Due April 30 for Rural Energy for America Program Renewable Energy Systems Grants

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is accepting applications for guaranteed loan financing and grant funding to agricultural producers and rural small businesses for renewable energy systems. These loan guarantees and grants are part of the Rural Energy for America Program, which was created under the 2008 Farm Bill and reauthorized under the 2014 Farm Bill. The Rural Energy for America Program helps agricultural producers and rural small businesses reduce energy costs and consumption by purchasing and installing renewable energy systems and making energy efficiency improvements in their operations. Wind energy systems are eligible. Applications for grant funding are due April 30, 2018. Applications for loan guarantees are accepted year round.
