Danish Offshore Wind Alliance Starts U.S. Tour

June 19, 2017

Offshorewind.biz reports that representatives from four companies in the Trade Council of Denmark's Offshore Wind Alliance plan to meet with potential partner companies in states in the Northeast and along the Gulf Coast. Ambassador Lars Gert Lose from the Embassy of Denmark in the United States said that although a few years ago the alliance members were focused on sharing Europe's offshore wind success story with Americans, now they are moving into a new phase. "We are moving from talking about potential opportunities to negotiating specific agreements. Through these agreements we intend to work with American companies to develop innovative concepts that will deliver low-cost solutions and which will materially contribute to a dynamic U.S. offshore wind supply chain," he said.
