Xcel Energy’s New Wind Farm Expected to Provide 600 Jobs in New Mexico

Xcel Energy officials recently announced that the company’s $865 million Sagamore Wind Project in Roosevelt County, New Mexico, is expected to provide 600 total jobs in the state. Xcel plans to invest $1.5 billion over the next 3 years in Texas and New Mexico to support long-term growth in the area. The second project will be located in Hale County, Texas. Xcel is waiting for regulatory approval on both projects.
