Rhode Island Selects Revolution Wind Project to Provide 400 Megawatts of Offshore Wind Energy

The State of Rhode Island announced it will enter into contract negotiations with Deepwater Wind to procure 400 megawatts of offshore wind energy as part of a clean energy procurement process issued by Massachusetts. The Revolution Wind project will be part of this regional collaboration and will support more than 800 jobs in the state; 50 of those jobs will be permanent.
