Fourth Major Offshore Wind Energy Project Approved

The U.S. Department of the Interior approved the Revolution Wind project, which will install 704 megawatts of wind energy capacity off the coast of Point Judith, Rhode Island. These fixed-bottom offshore wind turbines will be capable of powering nearly 250,000 homes and during its construction, the project will create ~1,200 local jobs helping to power the clean energy workforce.
