A new opportunity is open to apply for a clean energy peer-learning cohort from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Energy to Communities (C2C) program.

Participants in C2C peer-learning cohorts receive strategic and technical assistance; access to materials and resources, including templates, training, tools, best practices, and analyses; and the chance to collaborate with others across the United States tackling similar challenges.

Three Topics

The three cohort topics in this round are:  

  • Distributed wind
  • Renewable energy and energy efficiency 101 in Appalachia
  • Microgrids.

Interested?

  • Application Deadline: Oct. 31, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET
  • Ideal Participants: Depending on cohort topic, ideal participants may include local and regional governments, not-for-profit economic development districts, municipal and cooperative utilities, Tribes, and community-based organizations
  • Launch: January 2025
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Time Expectation: Participants should be available approximately 4 hours per month.
