Greater Sage Grouse Habitat Selection, Survival, and Wind Energy Infrastructure

Long-term research on greater sage grouse and wind energy, supported in part by the National Wind Coordinating Collaborative Sage Grouse Research Collaborative, was published in the Journal of Wildlife Management. The study included monitoring of 346 female greater sage grouse from 2009 to 2014 in southeastern Wyoming. It encompassed a control area and treatment area with wind energy infrastructure to estimate the effects on grouse habitat selection and demography.
